CSIR-NEIST Skill Development Training 2026 – Details
CSIR-NEIST Jorhat has released a notification for the CSIR-Integrated Skill Initiative Skill Development Training Program 2026. This is a national program initiated by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) using the expertise and infrastructure of individual laboratories across the country.
Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for various Basic and Advanced training programs. Successful candidates will receive certificates from CSIR-NEIST and NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation). The training is scheduled to start from the 1st week of July 2026.

The training programs are divided into Basic Training and Advanced Training categories. Each program has specific eligibility criteria and intake capacity.

- Uttar Negheri Handloom CFC, Uttar Negheri, Merapani, Golaghat District, Assam: For Jacquard Weaving (through associated NGO SNEHPAD)
Course Fee
- ₹5,000 will be charged during admission for the trade of Laboratory Animal Attendant only
- No course fee for all other courses

The application process is completely online through email. Follow these steps:

- Download the application format available on the website.
- Fill in all details – personal, educational qualification, and training preference.
- Attach the required documents (mark sheets, Aadhaar card, etc.).

- If applying for more than one training program, submit a separate application form for each.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on:
- Percentage of marks obtained in the respective qualifying examination.
- A screening test may be conducted based on the number of applicants.
