Project Assistant – Post Details
Essential Qualification
Candidates must meet any one of the following:
- Three/four years full-time B.Sc. degree in relevant subjects
- Three/four years full-time B.Sc. degree in the relevant subject with PG Diploma in Sericulture
Desirable Qualification
- M.Sc. in Social Sciences/Agricultural Sciences with specialization in Agricultural Statistics, Agricultural Economics, or Agricultural Extension
- Knowledge of Muga and Eri sericulture
- Experience in field surveys, socio-economic studies, and data collection
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic statistical data analysis
- Willingness to undertake extensive fieldwork and stakeholder interactions
Emoluments
- ₹15,000/month – for candidates without PG Diploma in Sericulture (PGDS)
- ₹20,000/month – for candidates with PG Diploma in Sericulture (PGDS)
Age Limit
- Maximum 30 years as on 30.07.2026
