Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized university:

  • Child Psychology
  • Psychiatry
  • Law
  • Social Work
  • Sociology
  • Human Health
  • Education
  • Human Development
  • Special Education for Differently Abled Children

Practicing professionals having a degree in the above disciplines are also eligible. Preference will be given to candidates holding a Post Graduate degree in the mentioned subjects.

Experience

Candidates must have been actively involved in health, education, or welfare activities pertaining to children for a minimum of seven (7) years.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of the following stages:

  • Advocates selected in JJB/CWC cannot deal with child-related cases during their tenure.
  • Selected candidates cannot hold political office during their tenure.
  • Selected candidates must not be insolvent.
  • The State Level Selection Committee (SLSC) reserves the right to reject applications and review recommendations.
